Account Closure, Export and Deletion

How to cancel, export mailbox data, request closure and exercise privacy rights.

Before you close

Professional domain, aliases and DNS after closure

Cancel a Professional subscription and arrange export of your one primary mailbox before service ends. Five aliases do not have separate inboxes to export, but their incoming messages reside in the primary mailbox. Removal of service-side aliases and domain hosting does not automatically reverse the public DNS records at your registrar; you remain responsible for updating MX/SPF/DKIM/DMARC and selecting a replacement host where needed. Backup-email records, billing evidence and disaster-recovery copies may have separate retention schedules.

If you want to keep messages, contacts or attachments, export them through available webmail or compatible email clients before losing access. Do not assume an overdue, suspended or cancelled account can always be accessed for export indefinitely.

Cancel paid billing separately

Cancelling a paid subscription through the secure customer billing portal ordinarily stops future renewal at the paid period’s end. It is not necessarily the same as requesting immediate account deletion. See Refunds and Cancellation.

Request account closure

Contact support@aimailcloud.com with the mailbox identifier and a brief closure request. For privacy-law requests, contact legal@aimailcloud.com. We may verify ownership and check security, outstanding payment disputes and statutory retention requirements before deleting account data.

Deletion and retained records

Active mailbox data, database entries, logs, backups and Stripe billing references have different operational retention needs. Deletion from primary systems and backup expiration may occur on separate schedules. We cannot promise immediate deletion from every backup or from recipients’ independent email systems.

Privacy rights

Account cancellation does not prevent you from exercising applicable privacy access, correction or erasure rights. See Data Rights.
