Scope
Custom domains, aliases and sending identity
This policy also applies to Professional Domain Email, its primary mailbox, aliases, associated verified domain, DNS instructions and sending activity. Domain proof is necessary but not a licence to impersonate third parties. Aliases must be under a domain the customer owns or is authorised to operate, and must not be used to evade sending limits or abuse investigations. One Professional plan does not authorise mass messaging or an unrestricted mail relay.
This policy applies to all Free, Plus, Business and Professional Domain Email accounts and any associated outgoing, incoming or stored email. Customers must comply with applicable laws, recipient rights and reasonable network-protection measures.
Prohibited activities
Do not use AI Mail Cloud to send phishing, malware, ransomware, credential theft requests, threats, harassment, impersonation, unlawful materials or deceptive communications. Do not harvest or purchase addresses for prohibited unsolicited sending, scan for vulnerabilities without authorisation, evade technical rate limits, abuse signup offers or operate spam distribution systems.
Marketing and permission
Bulk commercial email must have lawful permission, accurate sender identity and a usable opt-out where required. The New Zealand Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 prohibits unsolicited commercial messages with a New Zealand link and requires suitable sender identification and unsubscribe facilities. Other countries have their own rules; the sender is responsible for compliance.
Technical controls
Mailboxes have published storage quotas; separate per-message and sending-rate restrictions may be applied to protect infrastructure and deliverability. Automated abuse monitoring, filtering and temporary blocks may be used. No account may bypass a suspension by opening another mailbox.
Enforcement and appeals
We may investigate credible reports and proportionately block harmful traffic, require verification, restrict sending or suspend accounts. We may involve relevant providers or lawful authorities when justified. Contact support@aimailcloud.com to appeal, or legal@aimailcloud.com for formal questions.
Report suspected abuse with message headers, times and relevant evidence to support@aimailcloud.com. Avoid sending passwords, private keys or live malicious attachments.
