Global email infrastructure
Domain DNS, mail delivery and overseas services
Professional domain DNS entries (including MX and DKIM public keys) are intended to become publicly queryable. A verification TXT token proves temporary control of a domain but must not be treated as a mailbox password. Message delivery to other providers can involve processing in other countries. Changing a domain's MX records may alter which provider receives new email; customers should consider migration and retention obligations before changing a business domain.
AI Mail Cloud is operated by Alpha & Omega Limited in New Zealand and uses externally hosted infrastructure. The email hosting environment has been operated on OVHcloud US infrastructure; the public site uses Hostinger; Stripe processes billing data. Email recipients and their providers may be located in any number of countries. Do not assume mailbox data remains exclusively in New Zealand.
Cross-border safeguards
New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 principle 12 governs certain overseas disclosures, including requirements for comparable safeguards or appropriately informed authorisation. Relevant GDPR/UK GDPR, Australian and other mandatory requirements may also apply where their jurisdictional tests are met.
What may travel
Message headers, recipients, content, attachments and delivery metadata may cross borders when you correspond with external accounts. Billing and verification records may be processed by service providers. We limit disclosure to operational, contractual and legal purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
